TownePlace Suites by Marriott Abilene Southwest

I wanted to take the time to compliment our recent stay. Our experience with Marriott is always great, but the staff is exceptional at this location. It runs like a well oiled machine. Anywhere you look someone is working, none of this staff sits idle. Collecting litter, cleaning rooms, cleaning windows the pool, and attending to the front. The grounds were so clean and well manicured, the rooms and interior were above the top clean. The staff were the warmest, welcoming and accommodating we ever met. We interacted with others, but mostly, Denise, Bobbi, Pam, Jay, and most of the housekeeping staff. The funny part is we really didn’t need anything from them to warrant interaction, it was their friendliness. We look forward to staying there again.

Super clean hotel. Staff was very kind, but had issues with our 2nd day reservation they wouldn't help us with and stated we needed to call corporate. Even though we had emails and our app started we had a room for the second day. Wish they serious of cake corporate. We were there for vacation and visiting grandkids. On phone and at desk way to long. But still a great stay.

I only stayed 1 night because I was in town for business. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is so clean and quiet with spacious rooms and a delicious breakfast. The hotel was fully booked, yet I never heard a toilet flush or water running. The breakfast had real eggs and a good variety of foods. If I ever make it back to Abilene, I’ll definitely stay here!

Stopped in Abilene for the night and came across this gem. Plenty of options for food within 2-3 min walk. Good hotel served breakfast in the morning. My room was clean and neat. Movie theatre next door is convenient for entertainment in the evening. Will be back next time in town. Ask for Pamela when you check in.

This newer TownePlace Suites really impressed me. The staff was wonderful — Helen and Pamela were especially warm, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel is full of thoughtful touches that make travel easier, like filtered water stations on every floor, an immaculate gym with plenty of equipment, and a breakfast setup with lots of small comforts, from multiple hot sauces to great toppings and even a delicious quiche one morning. The rooms are smartly designed with useful storage and traveler‑friendly details. I especially appreciated the shower setup, where you can turn on the water without getting splashed. Overall, a clean, comfortable, well‑designed hotel that truly understands what travelers need.

We were in town for work and stayed here with our service dog. The staff here is absolutely amazing. Beyond helpful was the little blonde at the front desk (sorry don't remember names) When you see maintenance, housekeeping or even the grounds keepers they are all extremely pleasant. We stayed for a couple 3+ day weekends. Thank you for being so kind... definitely the Texas charm I appreciate and respect. We will definitely stay again if in the area. The couple from Wisconsin

Great location . Great amenities. Great rooms. However, some staff were more than professional and cordial . There is one I thought maybe was having a bad day but I was there for 3 nights and actually had a conversation about this staff member during breakfast .

My stay was Amazing! This Suite left me feeling refreshed after every busy day. Clean, spacious, welcoming with a refreshing fruit drink , free breakfast. Each room was outfited with All essential appliances and utilities for both long and short-term stays. Location is Key, Abilene doesn't have much, this Hotel is located in close proximity to Multiple restaurants and stores for your convenience.
